Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident

A 35-year-old man was injured after driving his motorcycle into a car early yesterday morning. The motorcycle accident happened in Ellington on Windsorville Road.

The driver of the car

was traveling south in his Honda Ody LX on Tripp Road, when he attempted to make a left turn from Tripp Road to Windsorville Road, police said.

Herrera struck the driver's side of Bellezza's vehicle with the front end of his motorcycle, sending him out of control, police said.

The motorcycle driver was taken by helicopter to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the car was not injured. The police are investigating the accident and no charges have been filed.
