Mission Valley Motorcycle Accident Leaves Two Dead

A motorcylce accident in Mission Valley has left two people dead. The driver of the motorcyle was an member of the Armed Services. His passenger was his sister. The motorcyle accident happened on Sunday night.

The man was the lead biker in a group of three motorcyclists allegedly speeding on eastbound Interstate 8, according to the CHP.

A CHP officer chased the lead motorcyclist, who accelerated to between 110 and 115 miles per hour, until the man lost control on a road connecting I-8 and southbound Interstate 805 and crashed into a guardrail, according to the CHP.

The victims were both residents of Imperial Beach. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
